NEW! Fulfill General Education Category IX: Study Abroad Experiential Learning (University Studies 197D)

This class allows you to use your study abroad experience to fulfill GE category IX.  See the class description for more information.  You are encouraged to enroll during the quarter immediately upon your return to UCI.  Get your access code from the CIE Front Desk.

 

Global Leadership Certificate Program

Prepare to be a global leader in your field. Meet international students, learn about various cultures, study abroad, develop your leadership skills, and show what you have learned.

 

International Club

The International Club connects international students with American students to have fun and to learn from one another.  The group plans many social, cross-cultural, and recreational activities.  Everyone is welcome and active participation in the club is encouraged.

The World at UCI

Check out opportunities at UCI to meet international students, learn about other cultures, and learn about international events and issues.  Deepen and expand your international learning!

Country Sash

Distinguish yourself at graduation and make your international experience visible!  Accent your cap and gown with a Country Sash! Special Discount Price for UCI Students: $26 (cash or check only).  Order at CIE between mid-January and mid-May.  You can check out the sashes here but be sure to order through the Center for International Education in order to receive the discount price.

  • UCI’s New University. Write an article for the New U and share your insights from you experiences abroad with the UCI community.
  • Transitions Abroad magazine. Share your story with the greater International Education community through this printed magazine.
  • More opportunities.  Check the current issue of CIE Returnee News for more places to get published.  These have specific deadlines.
