Connect with International Students
English Conversation Program
Mondays beginning October 1, 2012, 4:00-5:00pm, CORE office, UCI Student Center, 3rd floor.
The ECP is an English practice forum which encourages English language development through casual discussion in a friendly environment. Meet international students and scholars from around the world and gain exposure to multiple perspectives on current events, both local and global. iClub
International Club (or iClub) is a UCI student club designed to bring together international and domestic undergraduate and graduate students through fun and constructive social events. Past events have included bonfires, hikes, Thanksgiving dinners, pub nights, and game days. The club has members from all over the world, and includes both UCI undergraduates and graduate students. Communication Club (conversation partners) - Join for the fall!
Be a conversation partner for a UCI Extension international student, September through early December. The Communication Club partners domestic and international students for language and cultural learning…and fun! Global Leadership Certificate Program

Globalize yourself! Discover UCI's Global Leadership Certificate Program, a two-year certificate program designed to prepare you to be a global leader regardless of major and/or interests. Program consists of six requirements that give you the opportunity to meet international students, get involved on campus, attend leadership workshops, study abroad, AND bring out the leader in you! Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)
Did an international topic spark your interest while abroad? Plan a faculty-mentored research project on your international area of interest. Opportunities are available to apply for research funding, for publication in the UCI Undergraduate Research Journal, and to present your research at the annual UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium. Global Connect – Teach global issues to middle school & high school students
Share your global spirit and new global knowledge with others as a global studies intern, teaching the meaning of globalization through economic, political, social and cultural lenses in local middle and high school. International and Global Studies Club
Come join discussions with peers and faculty on topics of international and global interest. The IGSC is an academic club designed to integrate students from all backgrounds who share a common interest in the global arena. Topics can include public health assistance, governance and public policy, anthropology, culture, etc. The club brings together diverse students interested in international affairs.
