Share your Experience with Others Are you tired of talking about your time abroad with friends and family and seeing their eyes glaze over? Below are some ways for you to get a captive audience and share about your experiences with people who want to hear it.
- Submit a Photo showing prospective students what YOU did abroad!
Turn in a photo of yourself "on location" doing something you could NOT have done here at UCI. Did you hold a koala in Australia? Horseback ride through the Andes? Visit a bank of cheese in Italy? Then we want to see it. Don't miss your opportunity to deck our halls with moments from abroad and inspire others to take their journey! Requirements: submit a printed 4x6 photo with student name, location, and time abroad on the back. Only one submission per student.
- Create a Power Point of your study abroad experience to share with UCI students. This is a great way for you to reflect on your study abroad experience and capture it in a presentable form while it is still fresh in your mind. Email Christine Chou for more details regarding parameters for the Power Point and how it will be used.
- Create a video: Contribute to the How I See UCI video project. The UCI Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools is looking for enthusiastic current UCI students to help promote UCI to prospective Anteaters, and specifically want some returned study abroad students to participate. They would like students to make a 1 minute video sharing what you love about UCI. Videos will be posted on the UCI Admissions web site. For details contact: UCI Admissions Counselor Jessica Flores 949-824-9385.
