TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATIONS

For hotel accommodations, we suggest the Cozy Inn. It's located at 325 W. Bay St., Costa Mesa, CA 92627. Their phone number is (949) 650-2055. The student rate is $64 + tax for a single and $74 + tax for a double. These are discounted rates for UCI students and you will need to verify your student status by showing them your UCI letter of acceptance. Please note that they do not offer shuttle service from the John Wayne/Orange County Airport nor to UCI.

We also suggest the Travelodge Orange County, Best Western Orange County Airport North, or the Ramada Limited. These three hotels offer free shuttle service from the John Wayne/Orange County Airport to the hotel. You should phone the hotels from the airport when you arrive and ask them to send their shuttle to pick you up. Many hotels have complimentary courtesy phones located inside the airport; just pick up the phone and it will connect you with the hotel. Most will also offer a complimentary continental breakfast. You must inform the hotel that you are associated with UCI in order to receive the discounted rates quoted below. Keep in mind that these rates are correct at the time of updating, but are subject to change without notice.

The Travelodge Orange County is located at 1400 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, CA and the phone number is (714) 557-8700, then press "0" to be connected to the front desk. The rate is $62.00 + tax for a single or $67.00 + tax for a double. Add $5.00 for each additional person. Their weekly rate is $320 + tax for a single, and $350 + tax for a double Weekly rates are non-refundable and not available from mid-June through end of August. These are discounted rates for UCI students and you will need to verify your student status by showing them your UCI letter of acceptance. If you choose to pay with cash, you must leave a $10 phone deposit, which you get back when you check out, if you want the phone turned on. If you pay with a credit card, a key deposit is not required. They also offer free shuttle service from the hotel to UCI, except on Sundays. The shuttle does one drop off at UCI at 8:00 am , and one pick up at 6:00 pm to return to the hotel.

The Best Western is located at 2700 Hotel Terrace Drive , Santa Ana , CA and the phone number is (714) 432-8888 or toll free at (800) 432-0053. The rate is $84.99 + tax per night. They require either a credit card or a $100 deposit for the room upon arrival, which you will get back when you check out. The airport shuttle runs from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. everyday.

The rate is $79.00 + tax for a single or a double (add $10.00 on weekends). The airport shuttle runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. everyday. Call from the airport for pickup, or make a reservation with the hotel. They do not have shuttle service to UCI.
