The following University of California (UC) campuses offer summer study abroad programs. These are separate from the UCEAP summer options.
Purpose: Take UC courses abroad for your major/minor/breadth/personal interest.
Credit: Receive transfer credit (grades received abroad are averaged into your UC GPA, but are not listed on your UCI transcript) and fulfill UCI degree requirements.
Finances: Financial aid is available (including scholarships and loans; excluding work-study and UCI grants).
All program details - such as requirements, program length, and costs - vary by program. UCI students planning to participate in one of these programs need to pick up the UC Summer Abroad Forms and Information from the the Study Abroad Center front desk!
