HOUSING INFORMATION FOR CONTINUING UCI STUDENTS
This page contains both On-campus and Off-campus housing information for EAP and IOP students returning to UCI. The Off-campus housing information is also useful for students who need to find someone to take their space in their UCI housing while they will be abroad.
On-Campus
Housing
Information about on-campus housing - including descriptions, costs, and application procedures - can be found on the UCI Student Housing web site. Continuing students should review their options under Current Students.
NOTE: If a student has signed a contract for Arroyo Vista, Campus Village, Mesa Court, or Middle Earth and subsequently learns that he or she has been accepted for an EAP program, the student can cancel the contract without being subject to the contract cancellation fee as long as he or she has not yet moved in. The student will need to show his/her EAP acceptance notification as proof. Students living in Vista del Campo, Vista del Campo Norte, Camino del Sol, or Puerta del Sol can sublease their room for the quarter they are away. Contact the housing office and ask to be put on their sublet list, and see the off-campus housing links below for additional ways to find someone to sublease.
2013-2014 Academic Year
The application process for on-campus housing for continuing students for the 2013-14 academic year is now OPEN. Review all of your housing options on the Student Housing web site and click here to apply on-line. Contact the Housing Office directly for more information at: housing@uci.edu or (949) 824-6811.
Off-Campus Housing
- California Housing Board. This housing board provides a forum for students to share information about housing for rent and housing situations wanted near UCI.
- Uloop. Provides listings of UC Irvine off-campus housing options. Search for apartments and houses for rent, roommates, and sublets near UC Irvine.
- Anteater Housing Network. An online housing and roommate finder that contains a number of listings for sublets and rooms in homes that do not require a 12 month commitment. Housing Outreach Services also has some useful off-campus housing information on their web site, although it is uncertain how much longer they will be updating this web site.
