APPLYING TO A PROGRAM

1. First, be sure that you have completed steps 1-3 on our Prospective Participants page.

2. Be aware of your Application Deadline, and allow yourself plenty of time to complete the application.

• EAP Deadlines
• IOP Deadlines - Vary by program. Check with individual program for details.
• UCI Travel-Study Deadlines - First come, first served. Some programs fill up by early-February.

3. Then, complete CIE's Program Assessment Worksheet (PDF) to verify that the program you chose meets your goals and needs.

• EAP Applicants: Bring your completed worksheet to the front desk at CIE so you can receive access to the EAP Application.
• IOP Applicants: Do both of the below:
  - Bring your completed worksheet to the front desk at CIE to receive your IOP Pre-Departure Requirements 1/2 sheet. The IOP process may take 4-8 weeks to complete. 
  - Apply directly to your sponsoring IOP Program according to the programs instructions.
• UCI Travel-Study Applicants: Keep your completed worksheet for your records. Apply directly to UCI Travel-Study.
