Country Project

You are required to complete a project that will deepen your knowledge of your host country. Complete ONE of the two options below.

DUE DATE: Monday of 4th week of the quarter prior to your departure (e.g. it is due in spring quarter if you are leaving in fall).

1. Do a Report about your host country.

OR

2. Take a Class about your host country.

Orientations and Quiz

UCEAP Systemwide Office Pre-Departure Requirements

As a UCEAP Participant, your main point of contact will be the UCEAP Systemwide Office. You will receive an e-mail from the Systemwide Office one or two quarters prior to departure with a link to your EAP Pre-departure Requirements.  When available, the link can be found on the Participants section of the UCEAP web site.  Be sure to take action when indicated and meet all deadlines, failing to do so may result in your dismissal from EAP.  Direct all questions regarding these forms and instructions to your Program Advisor at the UCEAP Systemwide Office.

Withdrawing from UCEAP

  • If you decide that you cannot participate on UCEAP, schedule an appointment to meet with your UCI Study Abroad Center Advisor as soon as possible to sign the Withdrawal Form. Your official withdrawal must be in writing.
  • Note that you will be charged $500 by UCEAP if you withdraw at anytime after your withdrawal deadline. Additional withdrawal fees may apply, some of which may be before your EAP withdrawal deadline. Refer to your EAP Pre-Departure Requirements for additional information.
