Sponsored by campus clubs, programs, and departments. Join UCI students from all over the globe to celebrate learning about the world on campus and abroad. There will be interesting displays, delicious international food for sale and live entertainment from 12-1 pm pm featuring: Tang Feng Chinese Arts and the Spanish Dance Ensemble performing "Sevillanas." Buy your lunch at the fair and be entertained while enjoying it!

Imagine taking Microbiology and the lab (for UCI credit!) while having the experience of a lifetime in Chile! Study Biodiversity & Conservation or Anthropology in Costa Rica. Meet Diane O'Dowd, Professor of Developmental & Cell Biology, and see photos from students who enjoyed our Central/South America programs last year. Both of these amazing destinations offer you the opportunity to fulfill UCI Breadth Requirement II!

1-2 pm Study Abroad:  What Happens After?  by Dr. Mary Dwyer, President, IES: The Institute for the International Education of Students @ Student Services II, room 1010 A&B 
Dr. Dwyer will present results from a study that surveyed more than 14,800 students who had participated in IES programs from 1950–1999.  The study includes quantitative data across a large set of measures, including career impact, personal growth, and intercultural development.

5-6pm Book Talk: “Imperial Life in the Emerald City ” @ Social Science Plaza A 1100
Rajiv Chandrashekaran, Washington Post On-Line Editor and international reporter will talk about his newly released book by the same name. The book is based on the author’s experiences as the Bureau Chief in Iraq prior to and just after the fall of Saddam Hussein’s regime.
