EAP Planning for The School of Social Ecology

What past Social Ecology students say about studying abroad

"Going abroad challenged me both academically and in my personal life...The perspective of urban planning differs vastly across countries in ways that I never realized before."

- EAD student in Sydney, Australia

"I loved my experience abroad and would highly recommend to anyone who is considering it to 'JUST DO IT!' You will be glad you did. I personally would not change this experience for the world."

-PSB student in Guadalajara, Mexico

How can I make EAP fit?

Social Ecology students can choose to study abroad for a year, semester, summer, or quarter. While abroad, students can choose to take courses to fulfill their breadth requirements, major requirements, electives, or a combination of the above. There are many different types of EAP programs to choose from to make EAP fit into your plan.

Any course related to your school or major must be approved by Social Ecology Academic Counselors to ensure you receive UCI course credit. If the course cannot serve as a school/major equivalent course, it can always be used as an elective. The School of Social Ecology will accept a maximum of 5 upper division courses toward the major from non UCI sources.
