"Virtually all religions originated outside the USA, and so for a truly well-rounded education, any Religious Studies major (or minor) should experience religion as it is practiced in at least one country besides the United States. Imagine studying Catholicism in Rome and being at St. Peter's during a papal ceremony! Doing Zen Buddhist meditation at a temple in Japan! Or in India, climbing through the caves at Ajanta to see ancient Hindu sculptures! It's easy to fit an EAP experience (semester or year) into your Religious Studies major, so go ahead and expand your world!"
