EAP Planning for Psychology and Social Behavior

Why study PSB abroad?

"Education abroad provides the opportunity to add range and depth to understanding people, their habitats, and their social systems.  An Advanced Study Institute at Cambridge, early in my academic career, had a profound impact on my view of the world and my approach to psychology and to research.  It provided impetus for ideas and research direction, and it rapidly led to many international contacts that have enriched my life and work over the ensuing decades." Making EAP Fit

Take a look at the strategies below to see how studying abroad on EAP may fit into a 4 year plan. All examples are of programs taught in English. Students with other language proficiency may be eligible for additional programs.

The School of Social Ecology will accept a maximum of 5 upper division courses toward the major from non UCI sources. Make sure to meet with your academic counselor to discuss your options. View a list of EAP courses approved for PSB credit by the School of Social Ecology.

Strategies for PSB students

Note: These are only a few strategies that demonstrate how a student can study abroad and graduate within 4 years. There are many EAP programs that can be substituted into the same strategies. DO NOT LET THESE EXAMPLES LIMIT YOU. Please consult the EAP Program Wizard for more options.
