Strategy II
Year abroad taking higher level language + upper division

Chinese and Japanese minors must complete language through 3C in addition to upper division courses. All other minors (except Portuguese - 1C) only need to complete language through 2C in addition to upper division courses.

Students can opt to take additional upper division courses, higher level language courses (beyond 2C), or a combination of both while abroad.

The Example below shows a student taking higher level Italian and additional upper division courses while studying abroad for 1 year
