EAP Planning for The School of Humanities

What past Humanities students say about studying abroad

"Rather than thinking of a year spent in Spain as one definable experience, I visualize it as hundreds of smaller events linked in their uniqueness that ultimately resulted in a general feeling about where I had been and accomplished. "

- English major in Madrid, Spain

"First of all, in going abroad you are coming out of your 'comfort zone...' entering a different country and a different world... Through this you will face so [many] challenges and opportunities that can only be experienced by going abroad"

- Chinese major in Beijing, China

How can I make EAP fit?

Humanities students have a wide variety of choices on EAP! Students can choose to fulfill major, minor, breadth, and/or elective requirements when studying abroad in a foreign country. EAP has programs for the summer, quarter, semester, or year that allow students to find a program to fit their needs. Any departmental course has to be approved by Humanities Academic Counselors to ensure the student receives proper course credit.
