Film & Media Studies Majors Study Abroad

Why study Film & Media Studies abroad?

"Why study abroad?  Because it'll change your life.  Because you may have to wait for a bus in the snow (or in a monsoon), because you may get your heart broken (in another language), because of nothing that you can quantify, in a grade or a credit point, and that is your personal growth, both creative and intellectual.  I cannot recommend going abroad highly enough for Film and Media Studies Majors.  Do this before the other responsibilities of life pile up (and they will after you graduate). Now is the time to learn to perceive the world through the languages and cultural lenses of others.  I have never met a student who studied abroad who did not treasure the experience. And no one ever regrets the time spent."
