A student can take courses toward fulfilling GE/Breadth Areas III and IV while studying abroad with most EAP programs. Here is one example:

A student studying abroad at The National University of Singapore could possibly fulfill 2 Social Sciences GE/breadth (III) and 2 Humanities GE/breadth (IV). The student will fulfill Category VIII just for studying abroad. This student can potentially complete 5 GE/breadth requirements by studying one semester abroad!

All EAP courses must be approved for credit by the appropriate UCI schools.
